Learn by working through cases
Learn the anatomy, pathology and how to assess scans like you would at work.
A formal fellowship isn’t possible for everyone. Our Mini-Fellowships offer guided learning in MSK and Spine imaging, helping you assess scans and report your findings with greater confidence.
Practical learning. Confident reporting.
Why learn this way?
Recognising an abnormality on a teaching slide is one thing. Assessing a real MRI case is different. You need to work through the images, understand the anatomy, identify and interpret abnormalities, and bring your findings together into a confident report.
How does a Mini-Fellowship help you do that?
Learn the anatomy, pathology and how to assess scans like you would at work.
Nothing worse than that nagging feeling that I've missed something, which is why you can ask questions and clarify your doubts at any time. This was one of the most important features of my fellowships in my training.
The aim is simple: to help you apply what you learn to your everyday work. We do this by improving how you assess scans and report your findings.
Confident assessment. Confident reporting.
01 / Understand
Learn the relevant radiological anatomy: where to look and how to identify the structures that matter. Understand the underlying pathology and how it produces the abnormalities you see on MRI.
Connect the anatomy and pathology with the imaging findings, so you understand not just what an abnormality looks like, but why it matters.
02 / Assess
Work through full DICOM cases, scrolling through the scans like you do at work. Build on your knowledge of anatomy and pathology to identify and assess abnormalities more accurately.
Teaching videos and explanations help you review the cases, recognise important findings and develop a systematic approach to image assessment.
03 / Report
Learn how to turn your imaging findings into a clear, concise report. Understand which abnormalities matter, how to describe them and how to communicate your conclusions confidently.
For every abnormality covered, our “How to Report” section shows you how to describe your important findings and produce a clear, concise report you can be proud of.
Two ways to learn
Both formats emphasise guided, practical learning. Only the setting and delivery differ.
Learn from wherever you are through a structured, guided online programme. Learn the relevant imaging anatomy and pathology, work through full DICOM cases, and use teaching videos and explanations to support your learning.
Ask questions and clarify doubts whenever they arise as you work through the course. The aim is to help you develop practical assessment and reporting skills that you can apply at work.
