  • There is severe (in areas full thickness) cartilage loss (Green arrows) in the femoral trochlear.

 

  • Compare with normal thickness cartilage above and below (Pink arrows).

 

  • The femoral trochlear surface cartilage should be assessed on axial and Sagittal scans.
