BICEPS TENDON SHEATH TENOSYNOVITIS
- There can normally be a small amount of fluid in the biceps tendon sheath.
- However in this case there is markedly increased fluid in the biceps tendon sheath in keeping with tenosynovitis.
- Additionally there is intermediate signal soft tissue thickening in the sheath in keeping with synovial thickening.
There is,
- Significantly increased fluid in the biceps tendon sheath (Pink arrow).
- Areas of synovial thickening in the biceps tendon sheath (Green arrow).
