MSK MRI HIP ONLINE GUIDED MINI FELLOWSHIP

Learn Hip MRI: In our updated ONLINE MRI HIP MSK COURSE, we will cover the common abnormalities we see in reporting, focusing on how we assess a scan at work … Where to Look, What to Look for, and How to Confidently Report.

The focus of this course, like all our courses, is for you to be More Confident in making a diagnosis and to put out a much Better reports. We make sure you understand the detailed and complex radiological anatomy of the Hip, essential to an accurate diagnosis. We also cover the macroscopic pathology of abnormalities in all our Mini Fellowships, which not many radiologists do, but I have found it makes understanding and reporting the imaging easier.

All our mini fellowships are Guided. Being able to ask questions and clear doubts is very important in your learning and you can ask questions to clarify doubts or get more information at any stage and Dr Ravi will answer them.

Through these workshops we aim to make you More Confident with your Diagnosis, put out Clear Reports and to have your reports and findings Respected by Clinicians.

Some Questions You May Have

In our Guided Hip MRI course, we go through all the common abnormalities that we will see when we are reporting an MRI of the hip in our daily practice. And that’s really what this course is about, is about how to Confidently Report scans that we’re going to see regularly on our daily reporting list and be able to accurately assess them, to be able to put out a report that you are confident about but also importantly that the referrer reading the report, understands and respects it.

It is a Guided Hip MRI course, which covers all the major pathologies in the Hip that we’ll see on a day-to-day basis. We look at the MRI anatomy, which is incredibly important in the  hip because they’re very small, detailed structures and trying to understand them by reading journals and looking at individual images is extremely difficult. So we have a learning structure where we  show you in an easy to understand way to recognize the anatomy, the pathologies that affect them, the imaging appearance of those pathologies, and then importantly, how to put together a report and we have sample reports with all the pathologies that you’re going to see. Its structured in the same way as a fellowship.

Very importantly, this course is Guided. What does that mean?  We have lots of dicom cases that you can assess, like you would in the daily practice. But,  we then show you on the videos, how to actually assess that scan for the pathology and where the MRI abnormality is and how to find it.  At any stage you can ask a question no matter how small it is, to clear your doubts.  I think that’s a very important thing because when I was doing my fellowship, that was so important to be able to just ask about very minor things which caused a lot of doubt and lack of confidence. These are things in \ our daily reporting often cause doubt  because we’re not sure whether to call them pathology or not. So, once you get those things out of the way you can assess things much more confidently. At any stage, you can ask questions and we will get them answered.

The aim of this course and where we want you to get to, is that you can confidently pick up a MRI Hip know Where to look, know What to look for and then How to Confidently report it and then take it off your list. If you’d like a very practical, hands-on and guided way to learn to Confidently Report Hip MRI for your daily practice we would be very happy for you to join our course and to learn how to do this for yourself.
