Some Questions You May Have
What's in the Wrist, Hand & Fingers MRI Mini Fellowship?
LEARN MRI WRIST HAND & FINGERS: Learn where to Look, what to look for & how to Report.
We are commencing our MRI Wrist, Hand & Fingers online guided mini fellowship and this is something that people have been asking for quite a while. It’s taken a while because the anatomy is incredibly complex. If you are wanting to Learn how to confidently report MRI of the Wrist, hand and Fingers, trying to learn that from books or power-points is actually pretty difficult because it’s very hard to conceptualize that anatomy. Because it’s difficult to learn, it’s something that people aren’t confident to report, and these cases tend to get left on the list for someone else to do.
We’d like to help you change that so that you’re actually able to pick up those scans and report them for yourself with confidence & with accuracy. Our aim with this guided mini fellowship is for you to be able to look at a wrist, hand or fingers MRI, know Where to look, know What to look for and then How to Confidently report it and put out reports that are well respected.
How do you learn this? We structure our courses in the same way as a fellowship. So, they’re all Guided. You’re not left on your own, and I think that’s a very important thing. A lot of courses are basically given to you, and you’ve got to do your best with them. The way we’ve structured this course is really the way that I learn best, and the way that I learn best is to be able to ask questions to, clear doubts, and to actually show you how to do things. And that’s really the way this course is structured. It’s guided where you will look through lots of cases, and then we show you what to look for in those cases with videos, and so that you can actually find them for yourself. There are plenty of images, slides, text, which helps you build that knowledge base of how to assess a scan, and then the most important thing is that you can ask questions.
At any stage you can ask a question no matter how small it is; to clear your doubts and I think that’s a very important thing because when I was doing my fellowship, that was so important to be able to just ask about very minor things which caused a lot of doubt and lack of confidence. So, once you get those things out of the way you can assess things much more confidently.
The aim of this course and where we want you to get to, is that you can confidently pick up a wrist hand or finger MRI, know Where to look, know What to look for and then How to Confidently report it and then take it off your list. If this is something that would be useful for you in your daily practice. We’d be very happy for you to join our course and to learn how to do this for yourself.
