Segond Fracture MRI, how to find it when assessing the ACL on MRI & what ACL associated injuries to look for:
Today’s video post is on MRI of Segond Fracture which is one of the injuries associated with ACL tears. We look at where to look, what to look for and how to report it.
Segond Fractures are fractures of the lateral tibial plateau often associated with ACL tears.
It’s thought to be related to the tibial insertion of the anterolateral ligament. However, this ligament is not distinctly identified on MRI, and the best landmark is to look immediately posterior to the ITB insertion.
